The Institute of Control Systems (ICS) is a state-owned research and development centre, founded in 1977 in Katowice, Poland. The Institute is divided into CENTRES OF COMPETENCE which carry out research, development, application and implementation work in the following areas:
- network information systems and on-line services
- information security
- automation systems
- intelligent building automation systems
- medical systems for the examination of hearing and balance
