The Institute of Control Systems carries out research, development, application and implementation work in the following areas:

- cryptographic protection of information, authentication techniques,

AUTOMATION SYSTEMS
- distributed monitoring and process control systems,
- integrating automation systems with master management systems.

MEDICAL SYSTEMS FOR THE EXAMINATION OF HEARING AND BALANCE
Research and development projects financed or co-financed by the Ministry of Science and Information Society Technologies (research grants, specific targeted projects) are of key importance to ICS. They allow to constantly increase our knowledge, to develop and improve the set of products we offer our clients. Currently, the Institute’s strategy is to participate in projects financed by European Structural Funds and within the 6th Framework Programme of the EU, and focused on the development of information society in Poland. ICS is a member of several domestic and international consortiums that are involved in such projects. We set a lot of store by practical use of research results and their implementation on the market according to our clients’ requirements and specific needs. Our scientists and engineers as well as regular co-operation with universities, R&D centres, commercial companies and independent specialists, guarantee high level of services:
- technical consulting, research and audit,
- developing conceptual frameworks and designs of systems,
- systems configuration and their installation at the clients’ premises,
- implementation and personnel training,
- warranty and post-warranty service.
To secure high quality of works and services, ICS implemented the Quality Management System confirmed by the ISO 9001:2000 certificate.
