Network Information Systems Centre focuses on research, development, application and implementation work in the field of distributed information systems and on-line services.
Our staff can assist you in the following areas:
- design and configuration of IT network systems,
- construction of corporate portals and vortals,
- design of IT systems,
- implementation of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI),
- design and configuration of secure WiFi networks.
Our services:
Design of IT network systems
Design and configuration of IT network systems: controlled design and implementation process, configuration of servers and active network devices with focus on security issues, including configuration of intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and configuration of VPN secure tunnelling based on IPSec. The work includes: analysis of clients’ needs and scope of application, analysis of hardware needs, integration of proposed solutions with other IT systems. These solutions are based on Microsoft Windows, Unix, Novell, and Linux, while the devices of Cisco and 3Com are used to build the network infrastructure.
Implementation of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
In this area we carry out design and implementation work. We analyze applied safeguards according to clients’ needs and prepare implementation designs of Public Key Infrastructure. Electronic cards used for system security are selected according to clients’ needs. We offer PKI systems dedicated for MS Windows and Linux. PKI implementation also includes infrastructure of LDAP, OCSP and TSA servers. Additionally, our specialists work independently to offer their own solutions in the scope of Public Key Infrastructure. They provide training and consulting services, too.
Secure WiFi networks
Design and security of wireless WiFi networks based on the 802.11 family of standards. The work includes the analysis showing whether the migration of existing classic networks to the WiFi technology is possible. The analysis process sets a lot of store by the security of the designed network. The following services are carried out: analysis of clients’ needs, design of physical network structure, design of logical network structure, design of security systems, and selection of active network devices according to clients’ needs.
Portals and vortals
We carry out work in the range of design and construction of dedicated WWW services and CMS systems. These systems are built on the basis of Windows or Linux operating systems. Public Key Infrastructure is used to ensure system and data security.
